Pachpatte Inequalities on Time Scales

In the study of dynamic equations on time scales we deal with certain dynamic inequalities which provide explicit bounds on the unknown functions and their derivatives. Most of the inequalities presented are of comparison or Gronwall type and, more specifically, of Pachpatte type.

Ostrowski Inequalities on Time Scales

We prove Ostrowski inequalities (regular and weighted cases) on time scales and thus unify and extend corresponding continuous and discrete versions from the literature. We also apply our results to the quantum calculus case.

Opial inequalities on time scales

We present a version of Opial’s inequality for time scales and point out some of its applications to so-called dynamic equations. Such dynamic equations contain both differential equations and difference equations as special cases. Various extensions of our inequality are offered as well.
